Collection & distribution

Glasses collections & donations.

NeuOptics collects, sorts, and redistributes donated eyeglasses through trusted clinical partners. Every pair moves through a clear, accountable process designed to maximize real impact.

The process

From your drawer to someone's face.

We've built a four-step pipeline that ensures donated glasses are handled responsibly and reach people who truly need them.

Step 01

Collection

NeuOptics places eyeglass donation boxes at schools, community centers, and partner businesses across the area. Glasses can also be donated directly through coordinated drop-offs.

  • America's Best Contacts & Eyewear

Step 02

Pickup & inventory

All collection pickups and logistics are managed by our Collection Lead. Glasses are transported from collection sites to our sorting location with care — nothing lost, nothing mishandled.

  • Scheduled pickups from all active locations
  • Documented inventory tracking
  • Secure transport and handling

Step 03

Sorting & quality control

Each donated pair is carefully reviewed and sorted. We separate usable glasses from non-usable and categorize by type. Only appropriate, functional glasses move forward.

  • Prescription glasses
  • Reading glasses
  • Sunglasses
  • Non-usable flagged and handled separately

Step 04

Partner distribution

Sorted glasses are donated to the Garden Grove Lions Club, which works with California Lions In Sight. Through this partnership, glasses are refurbished and distributed during free vision screenings for underserved communities — primarily in Latin America. We have donated over 200+ pairs to date.

  • Garden Grove Lions Club partnership
  • California Lions In Sight network
  • Free clinical screening distribution
  • Focus on underserved communities in Latin America
